Does "One Born" Help to Relieve Our Fears?

The development of such programs as One Born Every Minute has brought pregnancy, labour and birth into our homes on a weekly basis. But it hasn't put women off the idea of falling pregnant, in fact of those who had watched the program over 80% (58% of all respondents) believed it helped them to grow in confidence. This shows the positive impact of such programs.
Fears, Worries and Concerns
Over 60% of our respondents were frightened by the experience that others had had during pregnancy, being influenced by family and friends (41%) and the media (23%). This goes to show that the stories we are told has a strong bearing on our thoughts when we go on the pregnancy journey. 36% claimed that the experience of others had no bearing over their thoughts.
Despite being frightened by others experience 60% of respondents were also happy to discover bad experiences and learn from them. This shows us that mums-to-be want to have all the facts to hand, good or bad, as they venture through pregnancy.
